Let Your Life Speak

Sharing the gospel can feel intimidating because we often assume it has to look a certain way. Not true. Like we need the perfect Bible verse memorized or the right words lined up at the right moment. Again, not true. The truth is, sharing the gospel doesn't always look like quoting Scripture out loud. Honestly, for many of us, it looks like the exact opposite.

For me, sharing the gospel has always been less about what I say and more about how I live. It's about living a life that reflects what I believe, and I have a feeling you may feel the same way. Showing up when it would be easier to stay comfortable, keeping your word even when no one is watching. It's choosing kindness in moments where impatience would be easier, offering grace before correction, and being someone people safe around, not judged. It's listening more than speaking, serving without needing recognition, and making space for those who feel overlooked or out ofplace. It's choosing integrity when shortcuts are available, humility over defensiveness, and encouragement where criticism would be easier. When you live authentically, faith speaks for itself.

Jesus actually tells us this is how faith is meant to be seen in Matthew 5:16, "let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father." Notice He said shine. The gospel becomes visible long before it's verbal. That's why everyday moments matter so much. The gospel is reflected when you choose patience over irritation. When you include the person who feels overlooked. These actions build trust, and trust opens the heart to truth. We plant seeds through how we live, God does the rest.

God, help me let my light shine in the way I live. Teach me to reflect You through my actions, my character, and my love for others. Use the everyday moments—seen and unseen—to point hearts back to You. Amen.
