Wisdom for the Work Week

Mondays can feel overwhelming (especiallyyyyyy coming off the holidays). Meetings, deadlines, and decisions pile up, and sometimes we're not sure where to start. It's easy to rely on our own understanding and hustle—but God offers something far better, His wisdom.
It's best said in James 1:5, "If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking." This week, before you dive into your tasks, pause and invite God into your work. Ask Him for guidance in decisions, clarity in your tasks, and patience in interactions. Wisdom doesn't just help us complete our work— it transforms the way we work, turning ordinary tasks into acts of purpose and service.
Remember, God's wisdom often comes in small, quiet nudges—a thought to speak encouragement to a colleague, a reminder to pause before reacting, or a fresh idea for solving a problem. When we seek Him first, our work becomes more than a to-do list, it's becomes a platform for honor, growth, and impact.
SHE Walks in Faith
What decisions this week will benefit most from God's wisdom?
How can you pause each day to invite Him into your work?
In what ways can your actions reflect God's guidance to others around you?
🩷 Prayer
Lord, I invite you into my work week. Grant me wisdom for every decision, patience in every challenge, and clarity in every task. Help me to see opportunities to honor You through my work, and guide my interactions with colleagues, clients, and everyone I encounter. Amen.
