Dear You, Keep Going!

Today, I want to write a letter to YOU.

I don't know everything you're carrying right now, but I know this... if you're reading this, it means you're still here. And that alone matters more than you probably realizes. I want to remind you of something you may have forgotten, because I too have forgotten it at times... you are allowed to be encouraged even when life feels unfinished.

You don't need to earn rest. You don't need to prove your strength. You don't need to have clarity before you receive kindness. God sees how hard you're trying, even on the days it looks like nothing is happening. He sees the quiet battles, the moments you keep showing up when it could be easier to pull back, the prayers you whisper when words feel heavy. All of it counts.

I need you to hear this today... faith still moves mountains. Don't take my word for it, look at Matthew 17:20, Jesus said "if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, 'move from here to there,' and it would move. Nothing would be impossible." Not the perfect kind of faith, but the steady kind. The faith that gets up again, and again. The faith that keeps believing when the mountain hasn't moved yet. The kind of fath that says, "I don't see the way, but I trust that God does." Sometimes mountains don't crumble all at once. Sometimes they move inch by inch, prayer by prayer, step by step. And staying the course... showing up again tomorrow, and the next day, and the next, is not a weakness. It's obedience.

If today feels heavy, you’re not weak for feeling it. You’re human. And being human means some days you survive on hope instead of certainty. That doesn’t mean you’re behind, it means you’re still in the race.

Don’t rush yourself. Growth doesn’t happen overnight. Sometimes it looks like getting out of bed. Sometimes it looks like staying when everything in you wants to quit. So stay the course. Even when progress feels slow. Even when answers feel delayed. Even when you’re tempted to believe nothing is changing. God is working in ways you can’t yet see.

If no one has told you this lately, let me say it... I believe in you. Not because you have everything figured out (if you do, teach me your ways) but because you keep going with the faith you do have. That kind of perseverance moves mountains.

Be gentle with yourself today. Speak to your heart the way you would to a dear friend. You are not failing, you are becoming. And one faithful step at a time, you are getting closer than you think. I’m cheering for you. Stay the course.

God, thank you for meeting me right where I am today. You see the places where I feel tired, unsure, and tempted to give up. You know the mountains in front of me and the weight I’ve been carrying quietly.

Strengthen my faith—even when it feels small. Help me trust that You are working in ways I can’t yet see. Give me the courage to stay the course, the grace to rest when I need it, and the hope to keep taking the next step. When I feel behind, remind me that Your timing is perfect. When I feel unseen, remind me that I am fully known. And when the road feels hard, help me remember that faith still moves mountains—one faithful step at a time. I place my trust in You today. Lead me forward, steady my heart, and cover me with Your peace. Amen.
